Ted McAleer: Park City, Utah
Vice Chair

Ted McAleer is the executive director of the Utah Science Technology and Research Initiative (USTAR), a long-term, state-funded investment to strengthen Utah's "knowledge economy." USTAR invests in world-class innovation teams and research facilities at the University of Utah and Utah State University to create novel technologies that are subsequently commercialized through new business ventures. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, Master of Engineering from the University of Virginia, and B.S. in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Diana Swaner

Diana Swaner: Park City, Utah

Diana Swaner has considerable expertise in education and social science. Diana earned her M.S. in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Intercultural and International Education with a specialty in Curriculum Writing from the University of Southern California. She has spent many years doing Teacher Training in Europe and worked in the area of gifted education, teaching students to problem solve and become divergent thinkers. Diana's mantra was always, "Not, how do I get my students to think about my curriculum, but how do I use my curriculum to teach students to think".

Paula Swaner, Ph.D.: Salt Lake City, Utah

Dr. Paula Swaner has received several degrees from the University of Utah, including a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in English Literature, as well as a Masters of Science in educational psychology and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. She has also received an M.A. from Pacific Graduate Institute in the Mythological Studies Program and is in the dissertation phase of a Ph.D. program from Pacifica University. In addition to her degrees, Dr. Swaner has certifications in Object Relations Theory and Therapy from the School of Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis, as well as from the Academy for Guided Imagery. In 1997, Dr. Swaner received a faculty appointment at the International Institute of Object Relations, a position she still holds. In 2003 she established the Rocky Mountain Psychological Center, a Psychotherapist’s Group Practice involving training and community mental health projects. Dr. Swaner has received numerous honors, including the Heart and Hands Award from the Cornerstone Counseling Center (2001), the Norman S. Anderson MD Award for Distinguished Service to Mental Health in Utah (2002), and Emeritus Merit of Honor from the University of Utah (2003).

Sumner Swaner: Park City, Utah

Sumner Swaner is a professional landscape architect, environmental planner, wildlife biologist and developer. Sumner's work has been published in leading magazines including "Landscape Architecture," "Planning" and "Urban Land." In addition to Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter, he is the founder of the nonprofit organization Center for Green Space Design and has spoken at venues ranging from small city meetings to the 2002 United Nations World Summit on Sustainable Development in South Africa.

Forrest S. Cuch: Salt Lake City, Utah

Forrest is an enrolled member of the Ute Indian Tribe. He earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in the Behavioral Sciences from Westminster College in Salt Lake City,Utah. Forrest served for 13 years as the executive director for the Utah Division of Indian Affairs. He speaks publicly on issues including Ute History, Utah Indian History, American Indian History, Indian Education, Economic Development on Utah Reservations and other related subjects.

Geralyn Dreyfous

Geralyn Dreyfous: Salt Lake City, Utah

Geralyn has a wide background in the arts, long experience in consulting in the philanthropic sector and is active on many boards and initiatives. Before moving to Utah she founded the Philanthropic Initiative in Boston, which guides families of wealth in strategic giving opportunities and she worked as head of the Special Projects office at the Kennedy School of Government. Geralyn taught Documentary and Narrative Writing at Harvard University and was founder of the DoubleTake Community Service Corporation and DoubleTake Summer Institute. A filmmaker as well, Geralyn produced The Day My God Died, a documentary on the global trafficking of children for sex and served as Executive Producer of the 2004 Academy Award winning Documentary, Born Into Brothels about the children of Calcutta prostitutes.

Bill Fenimore

Bill Fenimore: Layton, Utah

Bill was appointed to the wildlife board by Governor Huntsman and confirmed by the Utah Senate in May 2009. Previously, he was the vice chair of the Utah Division ofWildlife Resources (UDWR), Northern Regional Advisory Council (RAC). Governor Huntsman had previously appointed Bill to serve on the Great Salt Lake Advisory Commission. He was recently awarded the Utah Business of the Year 2009 by the Utah Society of Environmental Education (USEE) and the recipient of the American Birding Association's (ABA) Ludlow Griscom Award, the highest award of the American Birding Association. He is the author of Backyard Birds of Utah, the first of a 50 state guide series. Bill is the owner and operator of the Wild Bird Center, Layton, Utah.

Wendy Bizzaro

Wendy Gray Bizzaro: Park City, Utah

Wendy Gray still remembers the first horse her family had - a Shetland pony named Blackie that would trot up to the back door every morning for his carrot or apple. From there on out, Wendy was hooked. She began taking riding lessons, taking her horse to camp, and riding to school. After attending the University of Wisconsin, Wendy embarked on a successful career as a clothing designer. It was while on a business trip to New York she met and later married Richard Bizzaro. After raising a family, Wendy decided to devote her time, talent, and energy to training and showing Morgan sport horses. As the consummate perfectionist, she strives to improve the Morgan line through breeding, training, and performing. Wendy travels extensively each year to enter her Morgans in Dressage competitions and has earned many national Dressage awards.

Annette Harder Annette Harder: Logan, Utah
Ann MacQuoid

Ann MacQuoid: Park City, Utah

Originally from Texas, Ann moved to Park City from Laguna Beach in 1979 with her husband and family. Her enthusiasm for Park City has extended to nearly every charity and non-profit organization in town, serving on the Park City City Council and various boards. She was a founder of the Park City Performing Arts Foundation and was instrumental in the fundraising of $9 million to build the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts. After developing the Goldener Hirsch Inn in Upper Deer Valley in 1989, Ann began her real estate career. She is the recipient of virtually every industry award from Rookie of the Year to Prudential's list of Top 19 Agents nationally. With friends and business partners, Ann enjoys their newest endeavor, Parallel Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and the beautiufl St. Helena vineyard.

Susan Poulter

Susan Poulter: Park City, Utah

Susan brings a background in both science and law to her service on the board. With a PhD in chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley, she taught and did research at the Universoty of Utah for a number of years. Her legal career began with a law degree from the University of Utah, leading her to the practice of environmental law and general corporate law, and to a teaching position at the S. J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah where she is currently Professor Emerita. She has written and lectured on scientific evidence and has served on various professional boards and committees of the American Bar Association and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. She currently lives with her husband in Park City where her activities have included coordinating the docent program for the Swaner EcoCenter.

Robert Pruitt III: Salt Lake City, Utah

Robert is a practicing attorney active in environmental counseling and related litigation, including hazardous waste problems. He has a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Utah and a J. D. from the University of Utah College of Law. Upon admission to the Utah State Bar, Robert worked in all phases of oil and gas, mining, water, real property and environmental law.
