Visit Us at Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter

EcoCenter Public Hours:

EcoCenter hours are Wednesday through Saturday 10:00 am-4:00pm.  Closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. For a virtual tour of our building click here.


Administrative Hours:

Swaner staff can be found in their offices on the second floor of the EcoCenter during business hours; Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Climbing Wall Hours:

 

Our indoor, wetland-themed climbing wall is open every Saturday from 1:00-3:00 pm. The wall is appropriate for all ages. The cost is $5.00 per person for non-members and free for members.

Location:

The Swaner EcoCenter is located at 1258 Center Drive in Park City, Utah in the heart of Newpark Town Center, adjacent to the four-star Newpark Hotel and Resort.

***Due to numerous street name changes in the last few years, Google and Yahoo Maps and GPS units often have difficulty locating the Swaner EcoCenter.  Please use the driving directions below or call for directions from your starting point.***

From old town Park City and points South of I-80:

  1. Take S.R. 224 towards Kimball Junction
  2. Turn Right onto Newpark Blvd.
  3. Follow Newpark Blvd. through the stop sign to the end of road. Swaner EcoCenter will be directly in front of you across the Newpark Plaza.
  4. Parking: Turn right and take your first left to enter the Newpark parking garage (free parking), park in front of the Newpark plaza, or turn left and park behind the Newpark Hotel.

From Salt Lake City and points West of Park City:

  1. From I-80 East, take Exit 145 to Kimball Jct./Park City.
  2. Turn right off of the exit to continue on UT224 toward Park City.
  3. Turn Left on Newpark Blvd., second light after the exit.
  4. Follow Newpark Blvd. through the stop sign to the end of road. Swaner EcoCenter will be directly in front of you across the Newpark Plaza.
  5. Parking: Turn right and take your first left to enter the Newpark parking garage (free parking), park in front of the Newpark plaza, or turn left and park behind the Newpark Hotel.

From Kamas/Coalville and points East of Park City:

  1. From I-80 West, take Exit 145 to Kimball Jct./Park City.
  2. Turn left off of the exit to continue on UT224 toward Park City.
  3. Turn Left on Newpark Blvd., second light after the exit.
  4. Follow Newpark Blvd. through the stop sign to the end of road. Swaner EcoCenter will be directly in front of you across the Newpark Plaza.
