The Swaner Preserve hosts over 100 species of birds throughout the year, including a variety of shorebirds that stop here during their long migrations. We invite you to join Bill Fenimore, birding expert and author, for a birding 101 class and a bird-filled morning stroll on the Swaner Preserve. Get to know your avian neighbors! Bill is the owner of the Layton Wild Bird Center and has written a state-by-state series of bird books. $5.00 for non-members, free for members. RSVP recommended.
