Changing the World One Drop at a Time

Nancy Mesner, a water quality specialist, head of USU Water Quality Extension, and associate professor in USU's Department of Watershed Sciences will be speaking at Swaner EcoCenter about the importance of water quality in Utah. Her research focuses on helping people understand the connection between their everyday activities, land use, and the quality of our water. She will relate her journey as a scientist and also discuss the importance of each person's role in preserving and conserving our precious water supply. Following Mesner's talk, attendees are invited to enjoy light refreshments and a variety of hands-on learning activates.
