12th Annual Rhinestone Cowboy Gala
Twelve years of supporting the mission and vision of Swaner Nature Preserve

Swaner Nature Preserve was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1993 after 190 acres of land were set aside by the Swaner family in memory of their husband and father, Leland S. Swaner. Now, due to efforts made by the Swaner family, Summit county officials, and many generous community members, the Preserve now includes nearly 1,200 acres of ecologically sensitive uplands, wetlands, and stream habitat and serves as a home to countless wildlife. Swaner Nature Preserve focuses on preserving its 1,200 acres of ecologically diverse land for future generations, educating the community about wetlands, wildlife and a connectedness between nature and humanities, and nurturing the land back to its natural state before agricultural practices took place.

Event Description

The Rhinestone Cowboy event is a wonderful way for community members to support the mission and vision of Swaner Nature Preserve while enjoying an equestrian exhibit, delicious gourmet dining, and showing off their best cowboy duds as they dance the night away to the live music of a country western band.
