Erin RushPlanting Native Shrubs

SNP Restoration Efforts

On August 18, 2007, RiverStone Design Group and Swaner Nature Preserve joined together for a morning of habitat restoration, fun, food, and prizes. Despite the rain, RiverStone staff and SNP staff and volunteers planted 50 native shrubs (wild rose, chokecherry, and water birch). These shrubs will provide cover and food for native wildlife.

SNP would like to thank RiverStone Design, Progressive Plants, and our dedicated volunteers for their generous support!

If you would like to become involved with SNP's restoration efforts, please contact the Swaner Nature Preserve office at 435.649.1767 or email erin@swanernature.org or nell@swanernature.org.
