Dr. Fred Montague, local author and professor, will join us on Wednesday, August 12 at 6:00 pm for a presentation titled The Global Imperative for the Local Garden.  This informative and entertaining “chalk talk” discusses the importance of millions of gardeners and local gardens in meeting the unique challenges of our times.  Learn practical approaches – based on an ecological understanding – that save money, promote personal health, enhance neighborhoods, and keep the planet “green.”
