Energy - The BIG Picture, A Hands On Interactive Discussion

Join the Swaner EcoCenter and Joe Andrade, Professor of Engineering at the U of U, for a hands on, demo-based workshop all about energy!  We'll discuss what IS energy and electricity?  How is energy used and how much does it really cost?  Demos and hands on fun will include electricity and magnets induction and generators, solar cells, windmill and windpower, coal, oil shale, human power generation, and CO2 measurement.  Bring your questions and ideas.  This event is best suited for ages 11 and up.
