School Field Trips – Reservations Required

Educators:
Our nature-based, classic field trips allow students from local schools to complement their science curriculum with in-the-field ecology fundamentals in a real world setting. Students learn about Swaner’s unique habitat types and wildlife, the importance of watersheds, aquifers and wetlands, and how their choices at home affect the environment and their community. Fourth grade programs are conducted in the spring and fifth grade programs in the winter, providing seasonally different yet cumulative learning experiences.  Minimum group size is 10 students.
